The Essential Digital Skills professional development programme provides 20 free online training modules which are mapped onto the five categories of the Essential Digital Skills Framework:

  • Creating and editing
  • Communicating
  • Transacting
  • Being safe and responsible online

The modules are set out against each of the categories below, plus two synoptic modules which support development of pedagogy across the whole framework. If you click on the name of a module you will be linked to it. You will need to complete a self-assessment before you can use these modules.
