Practical and straightforward examples-- links were pretty useful as well.
This was thought-provoking and useful. Now I'd like to go further and see how to actually use some of the IT tools mentioned.
The video is well made and encourages ideas, but the assessment is quite vaguely termed, and without a facilitator to bounce ideas off, it's very difficult to get the 'right' answer. I did this with three colleagues and we all suggested a different answer.
For me a bit too simple. I would like to see more practical examples of learner collaboration rather than just thoughts or ideas.
Good ideas
Good course
thankyou, intersting
I agree that more productive ways of sharing and exchanging resources is needed in order to develop good practice in organisations.
A much more useful module for collaboration, simple but nice ideas and good points made.
Useful to consider shared practice
Couldn't agree more with "Sharing good learning content encourages teachers and learners to see and want to emulate the standards seen in their own work."
Interesting
A good module to think of how collaborative working space , can aid learning and potentially assessment opportunities.
Sharing can be risky but when managed well it can be a good supportive, learning tool
Thoughtful
Question asks to identify an example that is NOT a benefit but then when submitting your answer it is deemed wrong as it is not a benefit (very thing it actually asks you to identify).
This was certainly an informative subject, especially around collaboration with others and teachers. I am hoping that through this learning there is a balanced approach to supports learners that do not see this as a benefit.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Really well explained
Informative
Enjoyed this module
Handy, thanks
another very interesting module, some good ideas
The video module was interesting, but I felt the answers for the question were frustrating. Surely any of them could be a correct answer, or vice versa?
A useful module. I am finding it difficult though to find how you end the module. Could there not be a button to click rather than accidentally finding it when you go through the summary slides?
Good
interesting how this might improve learner focus
Makes the valid point that feedback on a document or project doesn't always have to come from the tutor. Peer feedback is a valuable tool in many ways both in terms of developing an awareness of the task requirements and encouraging learners to work together and not depend solely on the tutor for feedback.
Always wait for a group to join but why should we not set up an online group ?
I believe the question that needs answering is written incorrectly on this module - or the answer is incorrect.
You ask for an example of something that doesn't necessarily improve via collaboration - the answer should be "increased confidence of learners".
Yet it isn't?
Good, like the idea of being able to interact with others.
Informative.
Has some good ideas that I could adopt for my learners with SEN but would need to be handled carefully.
Ideal for lecturers as it can allow for exchanges of learning content and also students can get involved as well.
Good food for thought on how sharing work can provide extra dimensions to the classroom experience.
Interesting ideas. I would want to check on "ownership" issues before I shared resources, though.
This ended up as the first section I completed due to the need to click through areas that I had downloaded and read on previous sections. unclear on the process to complete and gain the badge. Well laid out but basic knowledge is required to complete the section.
very useful and some new ideas to use such as facebook live / skype etc
Same format as before, great video but doesn't fit on my screen correctly...responsive??
Nice to see a link to what 'Yammer' is. Heard a lot about it in the workplace recently.
This module provided some useful and simple ideas of ways to get your students to collaborate
