Quite confusing module

The unit enthused me to reflect and evaluate my ways of using media in providing feedback to my learners and critically reflect on the appropriateness of digital assessment approaches and adapt strategies accordingly.

Further reading supports unit

A very active way of feedback plus an opportunity for learners to see themselves in action and repeat and recall to see where improvements can be made plus it it more tangible for the learner.

Once able to follow format good to use but didn't like drop down assessment method as just led you to guess and try to put in right sections rather than look at what terms meant and which should go with each, maybe hints or glossary of terms section would help to make this more meaningful...

The module taught you the benefits of using audio and video recordings to enhance learning and assessment.

Worth noting that some of the research in this area shows that multimedia feedback is perceived by the students as being richer even when the actual content is identical to written alternatives. The human voice conveys a lot more than text.

We do use photographic evidence but definitely could use recorded verbal feedback and video evidence.

For teachers this is a good idea as it will help students gain evidence for their assessments and coursework.

Audio/visual feedback is a great way to help learners improve and reduce teacher workload, too. The four elements in the assessment were useful to remember, too.
