More appropriate for younger learners? Few older learners will access Pinterest/instagram/twitter etc, though maybe we should encourage them to?
Useful information about hashtags and using them
It was very helpful, I do not use twitter etc and it would be great to join the various groups/chat mentioned in this module.
Very useful and informative....
An informative module as I haven't used Hashtags and wasn't aware how they could be useful in education.
Factual module not an area that I have currently explored.
I haven't really used hashtags before and this explains how they can be used in teaching.
Will support learners with correct usage.
Nothing in here I didn't know already, but I can see it being a really great primer for people who aren't quite as digitally confident as I am. This left me thinking about getting back to Instagram!
Good overview of the use of hashtags.
Have never thought of using these as part of any online/digital learning. Makes sense after working through this!
Handy reminder.
Not sure how useful this would be with my groups.
Some might be sceptical on the use of hashtagging in general, especially for teaching and learning use...but give it a try and you'll be pleasantly surprised is my bet! #EdTech
I completely understand the use of hashtags know
You need to add something about inclusivity and the use of capital letters in a hashtag i.e #ClimateChange can be read back better using a screen-reader and is more visually appealing than #climatechange. And it would be good additional information added about using applications such as padlet to add hashtags for searching.
Good bitesized information which I can easily use in class
Haven't thought of using # in teaching and learning. Students will need to se a lot of discrimination though to filter content
Hashtags are having more importance and many of the students find their use an easy way to research online, it is something we as teachers need to consider more
Really inspired by this module, #can make learning more memorable and fun #learningforlife
Had some interesting information.
very interesting module many thanks
I would have liked a little more about this as I haven't really used #'s. I understand the uses and have been inspired to look into them, but not fully inspired to embrace
Good introduction
Clear and useful information about hashtags.
Could do with some expansion as to how I as the teacher view all the hashtags specific ones to class location.
Nice simple intro to the basic uses and conventions
This was a really useful module. The use of hashtags is being used on social media in all areas, without needing them, so it was really good to find out exactly how they should be used.
This has given me some extra information hashtags that I didn't know. Thank you!
Good basic information on #
Quick and easy to complete, gives a good overview in creating hashtags and why
