EdTech: Using classroom response systems or online polling
Polling tools have stretched far beyond their original function of carrying out surveys and reporting results.
Anyone who bought goods or services online will have encountered them; they underpin user satisfaction reporting across the board in the burgeoning online retail market, from holidays to groceries.
This module looks at how to apply them to learning and assessment.

I found this subject fascinating and fully intend to explore using available systems.
Good things about polls. Keep in mind not to over use them.
Interesting but a lot depends on your individual class dynamics.
Use polls all the time
With my online learners, I have found it difficult as they are all independent learners who start their courses all at different times I cannot picture being able to use this with the students at this time.
Good ideas for use of polling in learning and learner input to topics
good intro into how polls could be used and some useful links to polling 'software/apps' that could be used/trialed.
It was good with it being more short. However more examples of the tools could be useful
Quick, easy but assessed knowledge linked to reflection
I can certainly use this method in my teaching.
Good
Interesting information.
I enjoyed this
Teaches you how to use online feedback for learners, improves the participation of learners for assessment.
Interesting uses for polling which I feel would be useful to research into further to bring into the classes.
Some useful tools to receive feedback from learners.
Good way for lecturers to collect responses and use polls as feedback.
Can be used simply and for various checks on learning at various stages of a session or indeed over short timescales.
