Make the use of technology for learning as inclusive as possible.
good course
Makes you think and plan your ICT learning objectives and learning plans.
The key issues for me and my colleagues here is finding the most appropriate technology to work with. Adapting your courses and learning resources, can be an incredibly time consuming process.
Good exmples
Not everyone has access to social media platforms.
Very informative with a useful example.
Good
valuable lesson learnt: its important to know the learners and their needs in order to tailor content to cater to those needs.
OK
The value of this model is that it requires participants to reflect on the communication strategies they use across a broad range. It considers email, resource use and adaptation and the use of social media for different types and styles of communication, including appropriate scenarios for the use of each. A clear case study outlines how a more traditional resource can be adapted using Alt text, narrations and rethinking of image use and presentation style to make it accessible for a wide range of learners.
With so many types of content in use, it's tricky to know where to start to adapt. PowerPoint is a good choice but Word and PDFs are very important too.
Might be a struggle for some people and lecturers will need to really think about their students and how they can get them to follow instructions.
