Some useful ideas to consider.
Using cultural diverse resources to engage and look at different perspectives.
good information given
Great way to use cultural differences as a group to complete work.
This module covers cultural differences within learning.
I found this module quite complicated
It is good for thinking about the work and approach to teaching for different preferences.
Important practices.
A fairly useful insight to inclusive approaches to difference and diversity. I'm interested in moving forward with this topic.
Good module to aid in diversity in education
Would have preferred a more human approach to such an important module.
Very informative and eye-opening, in terms of, the importance of protecting and respecting cultural values, beliefs and how our learners present themselves to the world.
Made me think about how I can accommodate different cultures/experiences/perspectives in my learning groups.
Gives food for thought
Interesting module looking at a range of options to assist learners
An eye-opener.
Interesting!
Good
It was frustrating to have so many fantastic questions raised, and then finish the module without exploring them in more detail! I would have liked some more examples/expansion on how to answer the four questions at the end, to help me think of more practical ways to use this in my own classroom.
Cultural differences have an important role in all the communications. It is important to have an open mind to these differences, hence an inclusive approach in teaching is a must.
Ok module. Bit wooly with the wording and also the example was hand picked and perfect - I would find this harder to do this in my maths class; but I've managed it.
.
Clear and effective
I found the underpinning use of Hall’s theory a useful device to explore the module and the reflection task provided a useful opportunity consider how we might use the theory in planning learning activities and managing group facilitation.
Interesting module helping me to reflect on my current practices
I found the module useful and would like to know more about how to embed this into my teaching practice. Will follow up with further resources.
I feel like the theory behind this module was not as well explained, and that more examples could have been given to demonstrate how this is put into practice.
Some new concepts and a nice example - I found some of the options in the activity too similar though.
Provides some broad though relevant brushstrokes to the subject and implementation in a setting.
