Another interesting module. A few minor typos.
The tests were a bit confusing, especially the Digital Skills 2.
fantastic module
I got quite muddled on this one
Revisiting spreadsheet terminology after 20yrs away from teaching was quite revealing
Enjoyed this module more than I though I would. Much better explained than the other ones I've done so far.
It covered the basics well but more questions that are applied in spreadsheets would be more beneficial.
very hard.
A good module, thank you.
Very interesting and engaging. I like editing documents that is why i enjoyed working through the module
slightly more difficult.
some of the questions in the quiz do not make sense.
very good reminder
Please stop using white text. It is really difficult to read. Good module for basic introduction to spreadsheets.
This is a handy little module for business spreadsheet users - as a bit of revision for terminology and also for those entirely new to spreadsheets.
Note: Graphs and charts can now also be shown in cells
I found this the most enjoyable yet challenging module.
first time ever doing spreadsheets and i learned so so much
Great content!
Excellent resource!
Cell B4 is the cell that is positioned second column, fourth row and not second row, fourth column as stated in the transcript.
The most difficult quiz of all, it's lots of theoretical information but it will be practice that will make the points clear.
This was definitely the most challenging of all the components in all the units. Probably because it has the least relevance to what I do (language teaching) and is least likely that I will ever use.
A bit difficult but I have ow improved my skills in this area
this was link to my work
Useful information if working with numbers and large data sets
Extremely frustrating quiz - many of the questions were ambiguous
I DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT I WAS'T GIVEN ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE BODY THE COURSE TO COMPLETE ALL MY QUESTIONS THIS WAS VERY HARD AND SOME OF IT WAS'T RELEVANT
a good module
A useful module to refresh spreadsheet skills.
I found that useful as my spreadsheet knowledge is patchy but I suspect others will find it too basic
The best quiz so far, almost all the others I have only 1* to.
Overall a good introduction to using spreadsheets for teachers not familiar with them. However, it is not good practice to use =SUM for subtraction (SUM is the formula for adding up!) even though it does work.
Also, although this is not a maths course, please ensure that learners are taught the mathematically correct types of graph to use for different types of data (not just try out what there is to see what you like best)! Many, if not most, learners will be looking to improve their maths skills as well as their IT skills, even if that is not their starting point, and it is harder to break bad habits than not form them in the first place.
good
Useful if you haven't used spreadsheets much
Dont know much about spread sheets so this was very informative thank you. Could have done with being a bit more detailed, slower in coverage
Great!!!
Very informative especially on producing charts
All very good training, however, the quiz at the end is most irritating. If you get 7 out 0f 8 answers right, surely you can let people pass and show them the correct answer for the one mistake?
some of spreadsheet instructions were not clear - for students you may provide screenshots or exemplars of finished product ?
a good learning resource
It covers the basics well, with good and clear guidance for good presentation and avoiding mistakes.
