Spending time on researching and checking facts is important. Getting students to retrieve differences in text that make them question the validity of the source is engaging and important.

Now need to look for some specific maths related examples for my learners
Informative.
Really enjoyed the Ken Robinson talk - he's always interesting and entertaining - a shame to only watch a few minutes as suggested, though he doesn't really talk about using technology to change education as stated in the module.
The Wiki Link about Triangulation is not really relevant as it refers to geometry rather than sources.
Good recap, enjoyed the TED talk and will use this for learning
good module
Fake news - ESOL students (and others) often take this as 100% true - they need to be enabled to check for validity.
Loved the TED talk
Good unit with excellent resources
Module ok, the link for the Ted talk was about climate change?
