Technology-based assessment has become increasingly sophisticated in the design of tests. This is through automating the collection, and the immediacy of the presentation, of the results.
Aim
The benefits arising from the adoption of grading technologies and automated feedback.

This module covers the EdTech component - E1c : Performance overview
- Use digital technology to grade and give feedback on electronically submitted assignments.
- Use assessment management systems to enhance the effectiveness of feedback provision.
- Use digital technologies to monitor learner progress and provide support when needed.
- Adapt teaching and assessment practices, based on the data generated by the digital technologies used.
- Provide personal feedback and offer differentiated support to learners, based on the data generated by the digital technologies used.
- Enable learners to evaluate and interpret the results of formative, summative, self- and peerassessments.
- Help learners to identify areas for improvement and to develop learning plans to address these areas.
- Use digital technologies to enable learners to remain updated on progress and make informed choices on future learning priorities, optional subjects or future studies.

I like the concept that digital assessments can also used for open-ended, multiple attempt quizzes to support revision and
development of memory recall and will enable the students to get feedback instantaneously and use the assessment for self confidence in their abilities.

This approach is quite useful. I will try it with Kahoot.

This aids the learning process, once your questions/quiz is established get the learners to attempt, get the students on board to create their own questions and feedback, expanding knowledge and understanding in a fun and engaging way. Giving them responsibilities to expand their knowledge, and confidence.

Useful information to consider reasons for digital feedback and ways to do it
This is quite simplistic it would need to be developed considerably and imaginatively for higher level learners to avoid switching them off.
