interesting course
Good ideas in bitesize form
some good points raised
Effective
Thought provoking about making sure the digital space and work is not oppressive and it works well for learners. In the first year of online teaching, that was difficult to achieve but we can do more now that we know what works well, what can be flipped etc
Specific and targeted.
Personal well being has never been so important for learners considering the past year learners have had to manage. Thanks for a good module and supporting resources/activities to try.
An really interesting module and given me a lot to think about regarding personal wellbeing.
Well being is essential for staff and learners
Quick and effective module!
Very important points in the current climate, it's easy to forget about these sometimes
Basic but informative.
Food for though from this module "Digital wellbeing is promoted by being able to manage digital interactions, rather than being managed by it."
A useful basic overview of digital wellbeing and points to remember
Such an important topic for students and staff to consider especially while working from home.
Module shows potential risks to wellbeing in using technology.
Very informative
Interesting
Some good tips - particularly introducing homeworking as a digital skill.
There's also scope to look at departmental and institutional policies around email. One of the key stresses of working on line is when you get to the end of the day and then have a day's worth of emails to respond to. Some of this can be managed by building in email time but institutions can also encourage good practice - like not copying everyone into everything or limiting the number of systems staff have to check regularly.
Some helpful information and ideas that can be shared with learners
I was sceptical at first about this module, but does contain some useful tips on having awareness of and creating mental and physical 'spaces' for work.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance mentioned in this module is excellent for temporary homeworkers, follow this link:
