EdTech: Delivering effective teaching, learning and assessment
Using technology well in supporting remote learning can maintain most learning activity affected in closing the physical classroom. Some subjects, such as: joinery painting and hairdressing are harder to replace, especially, those that are lab or workshop based or programmes such as counselling or teacher training.

I really liked the idea of 'The virtual Water cooler' to remind us of the importance of the social development of interaction online that we must also facilitate for effective learning.
Really enjoyed the information and ideas used.
Collaborative learning is great.
good course
This was a well detailed mini module and makes you think about your practice and how to streamline it.
This module that has helped me focus on the type of on-line support I need to provide my learners when learning remotely.
Clear communication needs to be in place to ensure that students are clear about they need to deliver.
Specific and targeted.
This unit would benefit from more concrete examples of the 'finding out' alternatives that are tested in the question section.
An important awareness module , thanks.
Informative
In the situation we have experienced over the last few months having regular contact with my learners has been important in relation to checking for signs of falling pace and disengagement and the use of Teams as enabled me to work with them individually if necessary.
Easy and simple to complete!
I love that this will teach me to know the best ways to learn, love it
Nice module
Great module
A good session that I feel helps newer tutors or teachers to the sector to review their own practice and the importance of their delivery ideas over remote
Interesting comments about building the skills for working online. Very relevant in today's world.
Within my organisation we use office 365 with staff and learners. This supports the use of MS Teams which has become our go to tool for delivering online sessions. We also use Moodle to support independent learning. Learners feel comfortable with Teams as it is part of the Microsoft suite and they have been supported to use it since the start of this academic year.
Teaching learning and assessment has been adapted to ensure that formative assessment takes place during online delivery sessions using quizzes, padlet activities, we have also been using poly in Teams.
I like the idea of asking learners to keep Journals as we reflect on our lessons through our schedules of learning (schemes of work) which we have in paper or inline format
Good module for reinforcing that what I am doing in my online lessons is beneficial to learners
Introduced me to some new buzz words I am sure will being their rounds in delivery of online education.
Module shows effective teaching, learning and assessment
Nice and clear module with very useful 'summary-reminders' of features of effective remote learning environments. A characteristically well put-together unit from ETF; I'm looking forward to doing as many modules on this as possible.
Good basic introduction
I do not wish to provide feedback at this time. Thank you very much indeed.
