This is a very big topic and ambitious to cover in a short bite sized module - but definitely some good points raised. Points about induction are especially important. - some great ETF guidance on this https://enhance.etfoundation.co.uk/category/connected-and-effective .
Difficult to know whether the idea of asking learners to share image of themselves in their home working setting is wise. Where inequalities exist it could cause feelings of embarrassment for some.
Importance of additional learning need support deserves more than a final sentence!
Being a supportive teacher.
well presented
Good interactive presentation
Clear and concise examples to showcase how to support learners and build effective support.
some good points raised
Real
Building a community of students is important to promote sociability when students learn remotely.
Student support can be provided in numerous ways: through clear instructions for course work, asynchronous learning -short video clips, audio files, links to specialist websites etc- as well as running regular meetings to check how they are getting on- mental health is something one needs to bear in mind at all times.
This was a useful module for me as I was reminded to include more asynchronous teaching/learning into my practice as well as expand the ways in which my learners meet/interact.
Knowledge of your learners learning habits is essential.
Really good module thank you.
This is a really informative module
was good, just very brief and i don't feel provided tools to help deal with the issue
Quick, easy and relevant information! Cheers
Supporting learners on line is vital to ensure the success of the topics being delivered. I agree that when to contact the trainer is important in setting ground rules because whilst it is online, it doesn't mean that the tutor is always going to be free. Setting this clear expectation can help with the commitment of the learning.
good module
Vitally important to remember to build the online community not just for the learning but socially too.
Enjoyed the video as it gave some good clear information. Whilst teaching online it is important to tailor the sessions to the learners and this can include a multitude of things. Finding this out at the start is something I need to get better at and giving them options to communicate, learn and participate. I can then use this across the sessions to suit all needs. This maybe using whatsApp instead of email as a simple example as they use this most.
Really helped me to think about an upcoming course and how I will help the learners feel confident and part of a team
quik simple

The last question is poorly written - posting a link is a way of communicationg......
Ideal for lecturers/teachers in making sure that learners are able to access remote learning and making sure that any problems are sorted out quickly so that all learners are able to participate in lessons without falling behind.
Good
I found this course very helping in helping me to be able to support my learners and making sure that their needs are met.
Made me think about how I would use what I do in the classroom now to suit a totally remote learning experience.
Some useful hints & tips
Very valid points which are relevant to the learning and pastoral processes.
Great info
confusing
Informative
Really useful it highlights the importance of collaborative learning and ways to keep a check on learners welfare.

This included some good tips and ideas.
Maintaining social aspects of the learner is so important to avoid isolation and promote a learning community.
A good reminder of important things to look out for when supporting learners online.
