Good basics for online classwork.
I love using peer learning but it is essential to set the ground rules and expectations.
Grouping students correctly is also necessary in order for successful results
Good start to the module
Learners setting rules is essential.
Peer learning is good for the learners to develop their skill in sharing ideas
Useful to see how to prepare for learners who have not met in person and how they can support each other.
Peer learning is often something that I overlook with our business working across multiple locations and employers it makes it challenging. However I need to think of a way to support this and give others the opportunity to work with peers and network which could help them in the future.
I am going to explore setting up a monthly drop in/network session for each group of learners to engage with their peers.
Good tips to start thinking about importance and tools for peer work.
Reminder of the value of peer learning and assessing. The importance of building a community must take place first to ensure there is value and trust in the process.
Needs to be managed carefully in induction week otherwise the trust will not be built up from day 1 and will be harder to gain.
good, it was helpful and gave me some ideas for my future sessions
Reinforcing the importance of collaborative agreements at the outset of Peer learning
