EdTech: Helping learners to organise and manage data, information and content in digital environments
Digitising content has kept the language of files and folders associated with paper storage, but replaced its office-based storage into condensed, highly portable, indexed stores, that can be carried in the pocket or accessed from an online store.
Aim
How to support learners to manage their own content and information in a VLE or other digital environment.
Objective
After completing this module, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate practical and effective methods of content organisation and management to learners using a VLE
- Adopt and adapt suitable templates and guidance material for your learners
Digital Teaching Professional Framework
This module covers the EdTech component - B3a : Teaching context: blended learning
- Set up learning activities in digital environments, having identified learners' needs for guidance and catering for them.
- Interact with learners in digital environments.
- Digitally monitor learner behaviour and offer guidance when needed.
- Use digital technologies to remotely monitor learner progress and intervene when needed, while allowing for self-regulation.
- Experiment with and develop new forms and formats for offering guidance and support, using digital technologies.
