Recall is important and students also enjoy this part as they like short tests and can see the impact and progress of their learning.
Good support and Ideas.
Stimulating
Good module , thank you.
Important practice.
I will ponder over "Recall demands active engagement. Passive re-reading of notes or highlighting key points are not
The most common apps use flashcards. Some now include spaced repetition – surfacing questions
at agreed intervals and varying the frequency and format. "
Recall is so important and the opportunity to show this to other students in a classroom setting is sometimes invaluable .
It is good to know that learners can take a while for it to sink in, so recalling it through several lessons, isn't just boring them but better for them.
Easy to understand
Very good, the resources are tip top.
Very informative and good app ideas given - i will certainly be embedding these in my sessions going forward.
Plenty of food for thought about the learning process.
Several good links for further study.
