EdTech: Assessing learners' digital skills and confidence: IAG and beyond
The way students learn and the skills they need to progress are the same used in class, but they offer new challenges to get the best from the options they present. How learners meet those challenges at the start of a programme and what help is provided for improvement requires thought in initial learning design.

Assessing learners' digital ability skills is useful for engaging how much work you do on them and how much time you need to spend showing them how to use it.
Great Module to start you with digital learning and delivering.
Got me thinking about what I need to include, ask and assess for my learners in September regarding digital skills. Also made me think about what I can do with them throughout the year.
Helpful
Good module , thank you.
LOvely introduction to the topic, a good tip to use the ‘aspects of good performance checklist in the Performance and Quality guide
published by the ETF
I agree with the concept in this module that the learners confidence comes from' knowing the course is designed initially within the capacity of all to cope with demands' . Often students feel that that some course materials are beyond their reach and that they have little or no confidence in the materials or the teacher. It is important for them to gain confidence through repetition and familiarity .
Gave me somethings to think about and to consider in my future practice.
Good module
Easy to understand
Good initial module
