EdTech: New forms and formats of guidance and support for blended learning
The continuing growth of blended and online learning has shifted an ever-increasing proportion of learning activity offsite, away from reassuring presence of teachers and support staff. The guidance and support that teachers have always provided for learners in the classroom remains essential if effective learning is to take place, but it too has had to shift online.

A clear intro on scaffolding and support in the online space with some very useful links.
Scaffolding and using signposts and clues will help learners achieve with less teacher interaction promoting independence.
Interesting in building short chunks of learning to enable more exploring
Very good example of how to scaffold blended learning for better outcomes.
I find this module particularly helpful when planning to deliver blended learning. The guidance provided is effective in creating scaffolds for asynchronous learning. It is easy to understand and identifies simple rules to better support and frame learning. The Further Resources links (Wiley, Chaucer, Bell Foundation, and the EEF) also add great value.
If you are unsure how to deliver blended learning, why not start with this module?
