Did this a few times!
While I know the importance of professional updating, this has been particularly hard over the last 18 months, however this training reiterates the importance of technology and that while I may not have time to go back industry, I can keep in tough with ex colleagues to find out what has changed/what is going on in the industry
it is good to be reminded that whatever my subject area or the areas of my staff that they are confident and upskilled in the use of digital technology. this module has been useful.
Networking is essential to help remain current in your specialist field
Very useful.
It is really important in an FE college to maintain links with respected ex-colleagues in industry as it gives us an insight to new and contemporary ideas that are emerging in the workplace.
