EdTech: Self-employment and freelancing: marketing, communications and promotion
Changes in work opportunities and the jobs market have seen increasing numbers of learners becoming self-employed, freelancing or working for a number of employers on temporary contracts, rather than finding long-term permanent employment. Getting a job is no longer a one-off exercise.
Aim
The role of technology in personal marketing, communications and promotion for successful self-employment.
Objective
After completing the module you will be able to: - identify digital tools, services and skills required by learners aiming for self-employment - include self-employment and freelancing as scenarios/options in relevant learning activities, assignments and assessment opportunities
