EdTech: Building an employer network
Much of the process of networking and engagement with employers is the remit of senior managers. Individual teachers can have a big impact on teaching, learning and assessment in their own vocational area by building collaborative networks of employers in Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) around apprentices and other learners.
Aim
How to create productive networks and interaction with local employers.
Objective
After completing the module you will be able to: - lead the use of technology to engage local employer input into the planning, oversight and general direction of vocational teaching and training - improve the relevance of individual courses and the overall vocational programme by generating regular two-way communication with employers
